Seed-sharing library opens in Harrison

Community Library of Allegheny Valley, 1522 Broadview Blvd., Harrison, has opened a library for residents to share their extra flower, herb and vegetable seeds and pick up seeds for use in their own garden.

Patrons may take up to five packets per household and if possible, should bring in a packet of seeds to donate.

Cemetery cleanup planned March 15

Prospect Cemetery is requesting that Christmas grave blankets be removed by March 15.

The cemetery is no longer able to dispose of these items and families must remove them.
